Apathy is a state of indifference, or the suppression of emotions such as concern, excitement, motivation and passion. An apathetic individual has an absence of interest or concern to emotional, social, or physical life. They may also exhibit an insensibility or sluggishness.Apathy is said to be a effect of witnessing horrific acts as in war and also relate to mental conditions suh as depression,schizophrenia,dementia etc.
Now i am wondering. Does half of the world population suffer from one of the above mentioned onditions? Almost everyone has heard of the tale of the dead man riding the subway.Its probably just another urban legend but it also reflects on the state of indifference of majority of the populatin? So can this be called APATHY? I dont believe anymore that it is an individual condition but an mass effect.One of the major examples is the voter turnout. If the people
dont care about who are gonna make the laws that are gonna change their lives wat are they gonna care about?
I dono what all this is gonna lead to. And i dont care :P

Appreciate your line of thoughts..but today's "educated" individuals are sure to turn things around, but its gonna be an evolving process!!gotta wait and watch...
